Concluding Its Series, Summarecon's Free Cataract Surgery Program Reaches Bandung

As part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (Summarecon) once again organized its Free Cataract Surgery Social Service Program as a manifestation of the company’s ongoing commitment to improving public health and quality of life. Following its successful implementation in Tangerang and Bogor, the program was brought to Bandung as its third and final edition. This social initiative was made possible through the collaboration of Summarecon Bandung, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Indonesia, the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the West Java Provincial Government, the Bandung City Health Office, and Murni Teguh Naripan Hospital Bandung.

The surgeries were conducted on 30 May 2026 at Murni Teguh Naripan Hospital Bandung, supported by experienced ophthalmologists and medical professionals, and complemented by post-operative assistance to ensure optimal patient recovery. The strong public response was reflected in the participation of 244 registrants from various regions across West Java. Based on the health screening held on 23 May 2026 at Balerea, Plaza Summarecon Bandung, a total of 104 patients were declared eligible for surgery, consisting of 102 cataract patients and 2 pterygium patients.
