Summarecon Support Best Education Through Scholarships

Summarecon as a leading property developer in Indonesia has always tried to take part in carrying out social responsibility as stated in the company's vision. In this case, Summarecon support young people to be able to obtain the best education. Through one of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from internal of the company, Summarecon held and event of scholarships for children of employees Summarecon which is a routine activity that is held every year.

Located in the Grand Ballroom Club Kelapa Gading Jakarta, on July 12, 2013, was held an event Pembagian Beasiswa Anak Karyawan 2013. No less than 316 employees children attending high school and university receive education funds in the form of a scholarship in 2013. Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Liliawati Rahardjo, convey in her speech that the company has one mission to contribute in realizing Indonesia's young generation not only has the intelligence, but it also has a moral intelligence. Where the Indonesia's young generation should not only seek knowledge purely high academic, but also learn and apply the science of morality and character.

Summarecon cooperating with Tzu Chi Foundation, represented by Mr. Sudarno to provide socialization and introduction of the Tzu Chi Foundation and various social activities initiated by the charitable foundation. In the socialization session, Mr. Sudarno calling for our attention and improving our social life to be the person who used to share with others, and not to be afraid to start it from the awareness of our own. The event was also filled with briefing for students presented by Johan Efendy of Art2morrow which provide motivations to build the event for all participants and invited guests. Pandji Kiansantang as CCSR manager and chairman of the event committee said that CSR activities should duly started from the immediate environment that the company's own internal environment.

The event is expected to assist employees in achieving the best education for their children, and also as a bridge for the children of employees to realize their dreams and ideals of their future.
